The #StillhetSårer (“Silence Hurts”) campaign is a public awareness initiative in Norway launched by the Norwegian National Human Rights Institution (NIM), Amnesty International Norway, and Catalysts.

The campaign focuses on the power of the bystander and aims to combat hate speech, harassment, and discrimination.

My Work

I acted in this campaign and played the main character, Harlem, in a campaign episode illustrating the painful impact of the bystander effect. In the scene, Harlem faces identity-based harassment in a public space, shifting the focus from the aggressor to the painful silence of the onlookers.
